Travel Resources

Below is a list of some of my favourite travel essentials that I have personally used and recommend on the road.

Hotels & Accomodation

Whether I’m planning months ahead or booking last minute, I always compare prices across multiple platforms before making a reservation. I’ve often found the exact same hotel at different prices depending on the website. These are the top three platforms I search when I’m comparing my options.

Tours & Attractions

I try to book tours as early as I can so I don’t miss out on the best possible options, especially for popular attractions. Booking online is often cheaper (use those discount codes!) and saves you from long queues.

💡Use code CLARARGHKLOOK  or 10% off if you’re a new user, or for 3% off if you’re an existing one for all of the Klook links!

eSIMs & Connectivity

Stay connected from the moment you land. Having mobile data makes travelling so much easier—from ordering rides to navigating public transport and translating menus. I always install an eSIM before I fly so everything works as soon as I land. For destinations like China, I also use a VPN to access apps like Google, Instagram, WhatsApp and Gmail.

Travel Insurance

You don’t realise how important it is until you need it. Travel insurance is one of those things you hope you never have to use – but if your luggage goes missing, your flight is cancelled or you need medical treatment overseas…you’ll be glad you have it.
