About Me

I started this space for a simple reason — I have a terrible memory.

I wanted somewhere to capture the places I’ve been, the things I’ve eaten, and the experiences I don’t want to forget. Over time, it also became something more practical. My friends are constantly asking me for itineraries and recommendations, so I figured I would put everything in one place and just send them here.

I’m a Korean, raised and living in Sydney, Australia. Growing up I didn’t travel much at all. But that changed when I took a gap semester during university to live in Seoul, South Korea – back at my home country. This was when I got the chance to work at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. Having spent most of my life in Australia, that experience completely rewired my brain and truly fell in love with travelling.

Just as I was entering my “adult” phase – working, making money and finally having the means to travel more…COVID hit and everything paused again. Since then, I’ve made it a priority to travel whenever I can, even if it’s just short trips here and there. That mindset is what inspired the name of this blog – there she goes, there she goes again – because that’s exactly how I approach travel now: taking every opportunity to go.

This blog is where I share my itineraries, honest recommendations and tips I’ve learnt along the way. Whether you’re planning your next trip or just looking for inspiration, I hope this space helps you out.
